Founded in 1925, Stanford University Graduate School Of Business, operates out of the Knight Management Centre in the American state of California. Consistently rated as one of the top business schools, it has an international reputation, and international student body.

All the academic programs run by this business school reflect the motto ‘Change Lives. Change Organisations. Change The World’. Their core courses include a two year MBA program, which is made up of core business modules and a wide choice of electives, and a Sloan Masters Degree, a 10 month course for mid-career managers. Also available is a PhD course, for future researchers and teachers, and Executive Education programs. These programs include Strategic Marketing Management, Executive Program for Woman Leaders, and an Executive Program for Growing Companies.

The unique teaching methods on offer at Stanford Graduate School of Business, also enable students to participate in extra courses and events, to further sharpen their business skills. A 4 month Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is on offer to Stanford students already studying for an MBA or PhD, and those from outside Stanford with an advanced degree. Students will plan and develop a new product or service through learning core business skills, and practical skills such as product design, pitching, and intellectual property law. This course costs $500 tuition fee for current Stanford Students and $10,000 for those admitted from outside the system.

If students have completed 3 or more years study at undergraduate level, they may also be interested in the Summer Institute of General Management. This is a 4 week course open to those who have studied for 3 years or more at under-graduate level. Application fees and $10,000 tuition apply for this course. There’s also a Summer Institute In Entrepreneurship for students studying a masters or PhD in a non-business related subject. These four week courses use a variety of lectures, team projects and workshops to cover the process of launching a new venture. Stanford students will pay $500 tuition, while those applying from outside the university will pay S8,500 or $10,000 with housing.
